This week, Julia and Lalie went to daycamp (since Erica and I bought the deal on Groupon-29 bucks for a WEEK of daycamp!). They didn't love it but went for four days-one of which was at Wild Waves.
Anyway, when I drove them to camp (in Tacoma), we always drove by the Tacoma Art Museum and across the street from it was this courtyard thing with these cool Poetry Magnet replicas in gargantia size! We pulled over today to play a bit. There was also sidewalk chalk for people to create on the cement as well.
I love stuff like this that encourages creativity and community. Julia was all about the colored chalk and Lalie was all about arranging the words. I especially love that this kind of thing can be set up and not completely vandalized or ruined in some way.
This is very cool. Imagine our team with those at our disposal. Hmmm...
