POTD Day 135: Photoshoot....

I have chosen my daughter to be my muse 2 or 3x per week for the duration of  my SIX WEEK class... hmmm...that is a LONG time!
pro=accessability
cons=she gets tired of me taking her photo so much and I have to get creat... wait.. increasing creativity is the point... okay.

So I thought that I could get a photo of her sort of "flying" off the porch into the grass... that is where we started and then I just started going a little nuts... we obviously did not dress up for this but this is life with an 8 yr old girl... it was still fun and that is the most important thing! Yeah-the girl has some hair..

    Great job! I think I like the second shot better!! Such a pretty girl. So... what's this class you're taking? I think I'll be looking for classes soon.

    Gretchen-I am taking "Shoot by Design: Refining your Photographic Style" from Amanda Gilligan. I am a teacher on summer break (pretty soon this will not be the case!) and I was in a little creative funk...taking classes helps me focus (pardon the pun) and hopefully pull out of the rut!! I don't love either of those photos...with kids (my kid anyway), making her stop and put something else on or brush her hair may just take us past the moment of opportunity of getting some different shots in the grass. I learn from it all though!
