POTD Day 158: Pumpkins!
It is me versus the slugs and the slugs are winning! :( The smallest pumpkin in the patch (not pictured...) is totally hollowed out by the little suckers. I sort of thought that, if I gave them that little one (HUGE to them...), that they would leave the hearty ones alone. NOT. That big one you see, our pride and joy here at Hacienda #5, has a few bite marks by the slugs. I will have to put some beer out for them to party out on that instead.. Still, even thought they may not make it to Halloween, it is pretty neat to have pumpkins growing in my own yard!

Pretty pumpkins! My mom and dad had slug issues too in their garden, i will have to tell them about the beer trick! :)

How fun! Well, not the slugs... I agree they're not cool. I like that you have pumpkins growing... and I like how you've captured them here! =D
