On August 30, our neighbor's house burned down and they lost everything. Our neighborhood has done a lot of stuff to help them out, including my next door neighbor, Dan, putting on a benefit performance down at the local watering hole. We went down there-it is a brewery/tavern. Kids were welcome.. so we went and had a great evening and, on the way out, Julia says, "Lalie and I were in a BAR tonight!". Images of her teacher ( my colleague) hearing this statement rush into my mind before I get an inch from her face and say, with gritted teeth, NOT to mention this to anyone at school! It wasn't quite that dramatic but whatever-here are "Kids in the Bar"...
Many of the bars here have attached restaurants... kids are always welcome. They just can't actually SIT at the bar! This is a fun shot! =)
