Granddad's Service

Here are a few of my favorite shots from that cold, honorable, once in a lifetime day....

My mom and her siblings, with my grandparents of course, lived across the street from this chapel at one point. Uncle Richard remembered riding his bike through the cemetery as a child.






It was frigid cold but a lot of us walked the + -mile and half, following the cason to the gravesite.








21 gun salute. There was a 21 artillery salute as well!
