Celebrating the HARVEST...

My students wanted to bring in food from the countries they are from. We have a super diverse classroom and there was some seriously delicious food from around the globe..including CRICKETS (fried with garlic and salt...yep, had one!)...

 Cornbread from Africa

 Chocolate Potato cake from Ireland
 cookies from Denmark

 CRICKETS from Mexico

 Sambozas (sp?) from Yemen
 I cannot remember the name of this delicious flatbread but it is from Lebanon

 Scones from France

 Injerta (sp?) from Enetria

 Fried rice from Thailand, spagghetti squash from Kent, WA and some cookies from Safeway..hehe
 Hot dogs from America (American cheese too)

 The Crickets!
