Truth be told, I took this photo while I was in my car and stopped (thankfully) right by the sign. I have driven past this sign countless times and always chuckle a little. I even posted something about this being a bad idea on my facebook one time. Here it is, in all its glory-punctuation error and all.
When I first saw it, I kept thinking about the whole "Tattoo Party" idea was really bad (for the participants). I am assuming that there might be alcohol involved at this party and friends attending who may be apt to talk you into something you wouldn't have chosen while in your right mind. Can you imagine waking up the next morning under several different scenerios of an eight hour Tattoo Party?
Then, I started thinking about how REALLY bad it is, beyond being irritating, that they added punctuation where there was none needed on a sign advertising your opportunity to put as many tattoos on your body as possible within the allotted time.
Have you seen these kinds of examples of how much of a difference correct punctuation or spelling can make?
1. "Let’s eat Grandma!" or, ‘"Let’s eat, Grandma!" Punctuation saves lives.
2.Facebook status that says "It's shart week!"....
Can you think of any funny ways that your tattoo could end up at a party like this with the people that made that sign"inking" you?
